Practice with me – Private Class
Private classes, are one to one classes with me at Yoga-B Studio in Saint Lambert or DAMA Yoga in Longueuil.
What are the benefits of taking private courses?
I teach yoga because I believe in its power to heal and to transform and I have seen that yoga can offer these gifts to anyone, no matter where they are starting from. During a private session you are receiving the practice that is in line with the direct experience of yoga as it was passed down from teacher to student. One can focus and hone in on being present to the experience, refine their own practice and have time heal in a slower setting rather than a 60 minute group class, you receive my undivided attention to every one of your details. Anatomy and physiology are explored as well bio-mechanical habits that we all get caught in (slouching, tense shoulders, hunching over, folding in rather than lifting up and out).
Why you will LOVE practicing with me during a one to one session?
To me yoga is a path of both self empowerment and deep humility, staying present, focused and dynamic. You will benefit from practicing with me all sequences are tailor-made to you specifically, they are smart, strong, steady and focused. We will work together to reach that point where you are flowing in and out of asana dynamically accessing the mega benefits of each asana, we can take time to talk it out and explanations are textured so you really KNOW what you’re doing; allowing you to remain present to your moments on the mat and your breath. Added to that years spent on the mat refining and honing my skill my private classes are smart, strong, present, focused and dynamic. Plus there is homework!
How you feel will after working with me?
You will start to feel the benefits immediately, a stronger connection to your heart (emotions) and awareness of your body. Better breath movement, consciousness, you become more mindful of yourself and your presence to others moving from the actor to the witness ( the reactionary to observer). In terms of bio mechanical habits your posture will change and your movements in and out of asana will be steadier, as will your everyday movements. You’ll have a clearer understanding of why we practice asana first and meditation after, how to meditate and use mantra plus what they mean. Pranayama which will affect all streams of your life from work to home to family by being present to you. There will be clarity that creeps up on you when you’re not looking and a sense of being skill in action. Now doesn’t everyone want to feel this way?
Private classes consist of 3 x 90 minute classes which entail a 10-20 minute discussion on your intentions for your privates , the practice, followed by Pranayama breathing and meditation. I offer 3 x 90 minute sessions with handouts and homework ; Remember this is one to one instruction tailor-made to you specifically an investment in well-being and self care.

Group and Corporate Classes
Group classes to a minimum of 6 students X 75 minutes, for groups less than 6 people rates may vary.
Corporate yoga classes offer 1-hour session on site or at the studio.

Theraputic Yoga – 6 week sessions
I offer individual one to one sessions for those that are seeking specific practices or results within their practice. These sessions are based on a 6 week model, structured to suit the timetable of the student. PLACES ARE LIMITED for this series. You can also sign up with a friend. Each session is 75 minutes, with handouts and homework.
- Yoga For Mobility – learn how to move and activate the shoulder and hips for better asana practice and ease of mobility – moving form the center of the body and core ( abdominal ) workings.
- Yoga for Back Pain – heal back pain and increase flexibility in the spine.
- Deeper Asana – common knowledge and proper alignments structured around the basic 26 postures.
- Learn Inversions – Nail your headstand/handstand (and core inversions) in 6 weeks.
- Better Breathing techniques – to effectively manage stress, anxiety and insomnia, beginner meditation techniques. Pre recorded meditations will be provided with each session.
- The Yoga of Sleep – learn asana to aid with sleeplessness, how to properly structure a sequence to aid in sleeping and insomnia.
